Thom Filicia's new website.

I have loved Thom Filicia's work for a while now, so as you can imagine I was very excited to find out that he has a new website. His new work is amazing and you can really see how Thom has progressed. Anyway here is a peak at some of his newer work and you can also go to his website to check out some of the older stuff.

 

I love the way Thom mixes the furniture, colours and patterns in this room. The side tables dont match but they still look great.

 

I love sitting areas. They remind me of lazy relaxing days reading a book. Plus, how great are these orange chairs.

While browsing through some blogs to find some inspiration for my living room I got a little side tracked by J.K Place Capri. I think it has to be one of the best hotels I have seen so far! Christmas time....the weather is Fine!

I cant believe the year is coming to an end! What a year its been.... I have finally finished my uni degree and in the new year I will start a new journey (starting with a new job hopefully!). However, whilst I am a little daunted about whats in store for me now, I have to admit I am also very exited. I love the feeling of starting the new year with a fresh start. Another added bonus is that its summer! I always make a joke with my partner about being a seasonal person. As soon as there is blue sky's and sunshine my mood shifts. So summer for me means HAPPY lazy afternoons relaxing in the sun, a seafood Christmas with family, New Years Eve feast with friends, BBQ's and the beach! Well I hope so anyway.....and I wish everyone a happy Christmas and hope you enjoy your holidays as much as I will :)

Vanessa De Vargas.

I have just discovered Vanessa De Vargas and her work is lovely. Vanessa is a interior and furniture designer based in LA. She also runs a online decorating service that provides virtual decorating to anyone lives outside LA. Her work is very colourful and uplifting and definitely knows how to mix new, vintage and antique furniture with bold prints and glam and eclectic accessories perfectly. These pictures are of Vanessa's own home in LA. I love how the turquoise makes the room soft and fresh.



I love it how Vanessa mixes a bit of glam with a bit of eclectic and also includes natural elements as well.

How amazing is this green cabinet! It uplifts the room so well.

I Heart Lonny

As most of you may already know, a great new FREE online magazine called Lonny has just released its second issue. The magazine is great for any interior lover and showcases everything from great gift ideas to fashion and home tours. I love this showroom and its fantastic bold prints.
