Giuliana & Bill Rancic's New LA Home

I am a massive fan of Giuliana & Bill Rancic's reality show on the Style Network. Since the beginning of the season I have been dying to see the final reveal of their gorgeous Brentwood home designed by Lonni Paul. How adorable is baby Duke's nursery!

I love how the room is stylish but still has a childlike feel to the room. By adding little nautical features like the rope lamps, paddles on the wall and boat frame to the ceiling it makes the room fun without being over the top and tacky.

The rest of their home is very elegant but it is still homely and comfortable. Its such a perfect family home. Enjoy!

Christmas Time

Christmas Time

I can't believe it is that time of year again. Wow how this year has flown. I think I say that every year, but it has been especially quick this year. Time to put up the Christmas tree I suppose. Last year I decorated my tree in Gold and Silver so to follow the theme through I have opted for Gold and silver for my table decoration as well.

Packit

Now that Ava has started to eat solids I will need to pack her lunch for when we are out and about. I wanted to find something that would keep things cool and fresh, especially with summer just around the corner. I found this great freezer bag that comes with a patented eco-gel permanently built in to the liner. It is also PVC/lead free, non-toxic, earth safe and folds compactly in to the freezer for storage. For an added bonus they come in heaps of great designs that can be found here.

Black and white

I have always loved Black and White neutral interiors. They look classic and sophisticated. Currently my Pinterest is covered in black and white inspiration so I thought I would create my own look. Here is what I put together.

Black and White

Currently I am loving these spaces.

Dubai

I feel like I am playing catch up as I have wanted to share these pictures with you for a while now. One of the places we visited on our recent trip was Dubai. It was so amazing. There is no other city like it that I have been to. You would never imagine all of this stuff in the middle of a desert  Far out it is hot there. Granted we visited in the middle of their summer but I am pretty sure it is warm all year round. It is such a nice place to visit I thought I would share.

The beaches are stunning, the sand is white and the water is really blue. Shame the water feels like your swimming in a bath (not so refreshing in 50 degree Celsius weather).

The biggest shopping mall in the world. It even has an aquarium inside!

The tallest building in the world.

Fountains and Dubai skyline.

Fountain show at night

Sunset from a bar we went to on the beach. It was just gorgeous.

We caught this dhow's up the river to old Dubai which was definitely an experience.

The Dubai Mall

Thousands of pretty butterflies hanging from the ceiling in the Dubai Mall.

Apartments Sixty Four Barcelona

While we were in Barcelona we stayed at Apartments Sixty Four. It was right on the Passeig de Gracia one of the most stunning and bustling streets in Barcelona. Apart from its perfect location it was also a great place to stay. It came equipped with its own kitchen and separate bathrooms and living areas. Which was perfect because we were staying with my husbands father so we all had our own space.

The apartment was designed and styled really well. I was actually quite surprised that it looked better than the pictures on their website. Although my pictures do not do the apartment justice, hopefully you can get an idea of what it was like.

One of my favorite features was this gallery wall. It made the space feel homely and more like a boutique apartment rather than a huge hotel.

They also had these cute little book shelves with a selection of books to read during your stay (not that I got a chance to!)

Book print wallpaper was used which created an illusion of extra space. Such a great idea. It almost looked real.

The bedroom was very serine. The pillows were stylish and the king size bed was fantastic. I want to buy a king size bed now! Shame the hubby won't let me.
