Apartments Sixty Four Barcelona

While we were in Barcelona we stayed at Apartments Sixty Four. It was right on the Passeig de Gracia one of the most stunning and bustling streets in Barcelona. Apart from its perfect location it was also a great place to stay. It came equipped with its own kitchen and separate bathrooms and living areas. Which was perfect because we were staying with my husbands father so we all had our own space.

The apartment was designed and styled really well. I was actually quite surprised that it looked better than the pictures on their website. Although my pictures do not do the apartment justice, hopefully you can get an idea of what it was like.

One of my favorite features was this gallery wall. It made the space feel homely and more like a boutique apartment rather than a huge hotel.

They also had these cute little book shelves with a selection of books to read during your stay (not that I got a chance to!)

Book print wallpaper was used which created an illusion of extra space. Such a great idea. It almost looked real.

The bedroom was very serine. The pillows were stylish and the king size bed was fantastic. I want to buy a king size bed now! Shame the hubby won't let me.

Beautiful Barcelona

For those who follow my Instergram you will already know I have been travelling for the last 6 weeks. While I was away I thought I would be posting daily but I found it almost impossible because I was out all day and then back late at night. Now that I am back home I finally have the time to share my journey with you all. As expected I took way too many pictures, but I tried to narrow it down as much as I could. Here are some of my favorite things about Barcelona.

 The gorgeous Gaudi architecture

 The Beaches

 Oh my the food.....

Stunning streets

 Did I mention the food

Little pretty details in the buildings

 The scenery everywhere was breathtaking

Fresh fruit juice

A few changes

You may have noticed that we have been making a few changes around here. Ava has been hard at work updating our blog design. Very clever baby!

Or should I say Shari from Little Blue Deer did an amazing job updating my blog for me.
Thanks Shari.

I hope everyone enjoys my new design as much as I do.

My Must Haves

My Must Haves

I am a little obsessed with cosmetics. I think it is something about the pretty packaging. My family think I am crazy because I have way too much stuff and hardly ever use any of it. However, there are some things that I really love and continue to use over and over. Here is a list of my favorite cosmetics that I cant live with out.
