I crept out of bed this morning while bubba is still sleeping so that I could do a quick post. I have been crazy busy lately with all of this travelling we have been doing. First stop was Los Angeles. We stayed at the Viceroy in Santa Monica which was gorgeous. I wanted to do a more detailed post on the hotel but I did not get around to taking many pictures. My husband managed to snap a few of the room we stayed in but the pictures are not the best quality. Sorry!
Anyway I thought I would still share my thoughts on the experience and add some eye candy of what the hotel really looks like.
We stayed in the beach view king room that overlooked the Santa Monica beach. It was nice to wake up and look outside at the water, but to be honest we were out most of the day so we didn't get to enjoy it that much.
The room was as I expected it to be from the pictures on their website. Although it had a cold atmosphere. Its hard to explain why, I think it might be because the green looks really great in professional pictures but in real life it is not really a great mood lifter for me.
The rest of the decor though was very charming. The plates on the wall, the cute dog lamp and the wallpaper was stunning.
The bathroom was nice, white marble always makes me happy. It also had this gorgeous little lucite stool. I wanted to take it home with me.
Here are the profesional pictures from their website, seeing as my pictures dont do the hotel justice.
The lobby area and pool was actually the best part of the hotel. It was devine and unlike the room it had a good feel to it. Above is the front reception area. The hardwood floors were a great feature and the green worked well in the lobby area for some reason. The space is more light and open so it probably helps. I also really loved the gallery wall of mirrors. Throughout the hotel there are lots of cute little quirky touches that make the hotel very adorable. Overall we loved the hotel and the staff were also very friendly.

P.S I managed to get some better pictures of the Wynn in Vegas which I will be sharing soon.
