After doing much research we decided to buy a little Ragdoll Kitten. She is so cute!! We have had a few adjustments to make but she is slowly settling in. I never realised how hard it is for little kittens to settle into their new home. The first night she was under the bed crying all night and she wouldnt come out. The second night we decided to leave her in the lounge room with her kitty bed and she didnt last long in there either. But instead she liked little hiding spaces like the TV cabinet. lol. Anyway hopefully tonight will be a little better.

Designer of the day: Bryn Dunn
The other day I was browsing through one of my favorite blogs La Dolce Vita and I was reading a post called '10 things I can live without' and it was written by Bryn Dunn. I then noticed that Bryn has her own portfolio and I thought her work was amazing. I especially love the bedroom in the picture above. Hope you enjoy her work. You can check out more of her portfolio here. Bryn also has a great blog called Bryn Alexander.

Designer of the day: Christina Murphy
Usually when I am looking to feature a new designer in my 'Designer of the day post' I always try a find ones that I really really adore. But its not always that easy to fall in love with every one, so I get so excited when I find designers that really jump out at me. When I was looking through Christina Murphy's portfolio there were so many interiors that were beautiful that it was hard to choose which ones to post! Christina has been named as one of America's 'Top 100 Designers' by House Beautiful and has been featured on 'The View' and in magazines like House Beautiful, Lucky magazine, In Style Home and The New York Times. I love the bright colours and dramatic patterns that Christina uses in her interiors. How amazing is the blue above. The glossy walls also add a dramatic touch too. (speaking of....what do you think about the glossy wall look?). Christina has used high gloss in a few of her rooms and I think it works really well. You can check out more of her portfolio to see more of her work. Oh and do do these images justice click to enlarge.

Designer of the day: Kathryn M Ireland
I don't know if its just because its the beginning of winter here in Melbourne but I'm really loving colour today. As some of you may know I am normally a neutral girl and usually stay away from to much colour, but I admire people who know how to use it well. A perfect example is of Kathryn's work. She is a fabulous Interior Designer and her portfolio is amazing, she even has her own fabric collection as well. Oh and a blog that I am eager to check out!
SJP's Hampton Home...
How dreamy is Sarah Jessica Parker's Hampton home!? I would love to spend many weekends here (Or weeks :)

Designer of the day: Ashley Whittaker
Ashley Whittaker is an Interior Designer based out of New York City and has had numerous honorable mentions in magazines like Home Beautiful and Domino. Her work is so vibrant and colourful, to me it seems to be very summer/spring inspired. I have picked some of my favorite rooms to share with you, but you can also check out more of her work on her website.

My sixth pic!
Lovely Erica from Moth Design tagged me in her 6th picture game. Erica's 6th picture posted on her blog was of her bar cart that she beautifully decorated in her master bathroom. I absolutely love the way she decorates her home! You can check out her 6th post (and home!) on her Blog. My sixth picture (above) was from a post called Inspirations and it featured a picture of Thom filicia's lake house. It was so funny looking back through some of my old posts! Its amazing how much your style changes and your posts evolve over the years. But, I do still love Thom's work so I thought I would share some more pics of his lake house.
Here are the lovely blogs that I have decided to tag.
