While browsing through some blogs to find some inspiration for my living room I got a little side tracked by J.K Place Capri. I think it has to be one of the best hotels I have seen so far! Christmas time....the weather is Fine!

I cant believe the year is coming to an end! What a year its been.... I have finally finished my uni degree and in the new year I will start a new journey (starting with a new job hopefully!). However, whilst I am a little daunted about whats in store for me now, I have to admit I am also very exited. I love the feeling of starting the new year with a fresh start. Another added bonus is that its summer! I always make a joke with my partner about being a seasonal person. As soon as there is blue sky's and sunshine my mood shifts. So summer for me means HAPPY lazy afternoons relaxing in the sun, a seafood Christmas with family, New Years Eve feast with friends, BBQ's and the beach! Well I hope so anyway.....and I wish everyone a happy Christmas and hope you enjoy your holidays as much as I will :)

Vanessa De Vargas.

I have just discovered Vanessa De Vargas and her work is lovely. Vanessa is a interior and furniture designer based in LA. She also runs a online decorating service that provides virtual decorating to anyone lives outside LA. Her work is very colourful and uplifting and definitely knows how to mix new, vintage and antique furniture with bold prints and glam and eclectic accessories perfectly. These pictures are of Vanessa's own home in LA. I love how the turquoise makes the room soft and fresh.



I love it how Vanessa mixes a bit of glam with a bit of eclectic and also includes natural elements as well.

How amazing is this green cabinet! It uplifts the room so well.

I Heart Lonny

As most of you may already know, a great new FREE online magazine called Lonny has just released its second issue. The magazine is great for any interior lover and showcases everything from great gift ideas to fashion and home tours. I love this showroom and its fantastic bold prints. Here is a sneak peak...

The other day I came across Phoebe Howard and I was very impressed with her work. Style Icons and Their Homes.

Whenever I am looking for some fashion inspiration I turn to my style icons to help me out. Hence I have decided to share some of my style icons and also take a peak into their homes.

Olivia Palermo

1. First up is Olivia Palermo, she is definitely is the "IT" girl at the moment and you can totally understand why. Olivia stars in the reality TV series "The City" , which captures the everyday lives of not so everyday women. She is the creative director at Elle magazine and is also a well known socialite in NYC. Her style is very sophisticated and always mixes and matches her wardrobe to perfection. Whether she is wearing a pair of jeans or a little black dress Olivia always looks FAB! She definitely has a wardrobe I would love to get my hands on..

As for Olivia Palermo's home. Well say no more..... Its definitely the apartment I would love to have if I lived in NYC. Sophisticated, feminine and chic.

Whitney Port

2. Ok so I must admit I am a bit of a reality TV junkie. I know its not the most educational way to spend your time, but its my guilty little pleasure. Next up is Olivia Palermo's co-star on "The city", Whitney Port. Whitney, stared along side Lauren Conrad on the reality show "The Hills" and then moved from LA to New York to start her own spin off. She is a former fashion contributor for Teen Vogue and also used to work for DVF. Now Whitney works for Kelly Cutrone at a PR company called People's Revolution. Her style is very girly, colourful and relaxed. She also has her own collection Whitney Eve which is a line designed for the professional girl on the go. Enjoy..

Kim Kardashian

3. Third on my list is Kim Kardashian. Kim is also the star of a reality Tv show called "Keeping up with the Kardashians", where you can get an inside look into the everyday lives of her and her family. I love that she embraces her curvy figure and always knows how to dress in a way that is flattering to her body type.

Kim's home is very Hollywood glam, especially her bedroom. Maybe a little bit to glam for me! (but still worth a peak)

Audrina Patridge

4. Forth on my list is Audrina Patridge. Audrina is the star of the reality TV show "The Hills" and knows how to dress in a very beachy relaxed LA style. I love her looks for an everyday relaxed yet stylish look.

I was actually really surprised and liked Audrina's house. Its very warm and cozy and I like her use of colour throughout the home.

Gwyneth Paltrow

5. last up is Gwyneth Paltrow. She has a sophisticated but casual style but also likes to glam it up at times. Here are some of her looks I love....

As an added extra, she actually knows how to style up her home beautifully too.
