Christmas Time

Christmas Time

I can't believe it is that time of year again. Wow how this year has flown. I think I say that every year, but it has been especially quick this year. Time to put up the Christmas tree I suppose. Last year I decorated my tree in Gold and Silver so to follow the theme through I have opted for Gold and silver for my table decoration as well.

Designer of the day: Antony Todd

How amazing is Antony Todd's portfolio! He was originally trained as a costume and set designer and now he creates beautiful spaces. I love all the natural elements that he uses in his designs, his rooms feel collected over time. When ever I travel I always look for inspiration and ways to incorporate that into my home. I feel like Anthony has done that in a lot of his interiors. I keep looking at all the little details and fantastic pieces he has used in each room.

Olioboard V's Polyvore?

I just discovered this new website called Olioboard, its a great program that allows you to create mood boards. I have used Polyvore for a while now, but I thought I would try Olioboard and compare the two. I personally find Polyvore easier to use but I'm sure once I get used to using Olioboard it will be fine. Olioboard seems to have more items to choose from than Polyvore and is more focused on design. However, keep in mind you can add your own pictures on both of the applications if you want to add something to the board you already have. Here is one I created today and I was happy with the result.

10 Beautiful Bedrooms

I have to admit my most favorite room in a house is the bedroom, not for naughty reasons, but because out of all the rooms in the house you can express your personal style the most. For me I want a little bit of Luxury, white linens, candles, glassware and silver, anything and everything that speaks glam. I want to be surrounded by all the things that make me happy and send me off to sleep feeling calm and relaxed. Here are 10 beautiful bedrooms that I could happily call my own.

Chic Beach House.

How chic is this beach house designed by Elsa Soyars, the clean crisp neutral colour pallet makes the space soft and serene, yet there are pops of colour and playful elements in the space that make it vibrant and comfortable. I think Elsa has cleverly designed this space in a way that is different from typical beachy interiors and designed it with a modern and fresh take on a beach side look.

RED

For some reason these images have been jumping out at me lately.
Must be something about red chairs....?
